Sally Hong (Anita Yuen) and her mother Chency Yuen (Pang Hong) arrive on a famous liner. Sally's father died of stroke after Hong Kong real estate went down the drain and his company went bankrupt. Facing sarcastic criticism and suppression from acquaintances, Sally decides to go on the liner with her mother for a vacation. While on the ship, she met a millionaire William Tung (George Lam), Sally decides to marry him to save her family business. In the time during the uncertainty of China's take over, both decide to expand the Hong Kong business to China. But the move stimulated competition from another rich family Yicks who started to set up traps...
